Emissions
The main flue gas circulating in the ECLIPS system is carbon dioxide (CO2) and its sequestration is an integral part of the design process as the final stage, where it is purified and captured for onward sale as a valuable commodity. The main flue gas in conventional systems has no value and is a mixture of harmful gases released to the atmosphere. In order to capture carbon dioxide on these systems, special equipment is required to be fitted to the chimney or smokestack, which is proving costly, difficult and deficient. |
